10,000 Trees

Led by Joel, an IP Team in Buliisa, Uganda decided that they will plant 10,000 trees in their community with the hope that they will provide an buffer against the devastating effects of climate change on their community. They know the trees will take many years to mature, and those who plant may not live to see the results. But this is for their children and grandchildren, they assert. This is a nursery of tree saplings that are now ready to be taken out to plant. When this set is done, they want to do another 10,000. To commemorate the visit of OMNIA's president, everyone present planted a tree.
